Story
Brief — A series of illustration that evoques the different phases of creation of an electronic ink frame.
Subject — A digital e-ink frame that is able to display high quality b/w photographs for luxury interiors. The client as designed multiple parts of the frame. From electronic components to industrial design optimization, the brief was to illustrate the phases.
Art — The key inspiring element was the e-ink technology. This technology mimics the appearance of traditional ink on paper by playing with electro-magnetic fields. Here came the idea of evoquing the digital with the metallic aesthetic. The secondary element was the concept of photography. The series is wrapped in a black mood that evoques the darkness of photography.
